Description

Day 1

Location: Vaishno Devi Temple

A replica of the Vaishno Devi temple in Kashmir, the Vaishno Devi Temple of Haridwar is marked by tunnels and caves that lead to the inner sanctum containing the shrine of Goddess Vaishno Devi. The divine temple houses three deities – Lakshmi, Kaali and Saraswati. The Vaishno Devi Temple in Haridwar is a frequently visited site, both by religious devotees and nature lovers because of the stunning view of the surrounding landscape.

Day 2

Location: Daksh Mahadev Temple

Daksheswar Mahadev ( दक्षेश्‍वर महादेव मन्दिर) or Daksha Mahadev temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the town of Kankhal, about 4 km from Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India. It is named after King Daksha Prajapati, the father of Sati. Daksha is one of the fourteen Prajapatis, creator deities, who preside over procreation and are the protector of life in Hindu mythology.

Day 3

Location: Mussoorie Lake

It is a man-made lake which was developed by City Board and the Mussoorie-Dehradun Developmental Authority. The lake is placed at a scenic location about 6 km before Mussoorie on the Dehradun-Mussoorie Road. One can get down at Dhobi Ghat from where the lake is just at a walking distance. Surroundings of the lake include the mesmerizing views of Doon Valley and the verdant hills of Mussoorie.

Day 4

Location: Lal Tibba, Mussoorie

Perched on the Depot Hill in Landour, Lal Tibba is one of the highest viewpoints in Mussoorie. Just 6 km from the city centre, this vantage point rests at an altitude of 2,275 metres so you can only imagine the views from up here. The name of the viewpoint literally translates to Red Hill, which is a direct reference to the colour of the sky visible from here during the sunrise and sunset.
